KEEP YOUR HAIR SHINY & HEALTHY

Shampoo, shampoo, shampoo!! THIS IS A MUST! Get you a good shampoo, PROFESSIONAL! Joico is one of my MANY favorites! Walmart does not sell professional shampoo, Ulta, Beauty Brands, your hair dresser. Everyones hair is different so ask about what may work for you, it may take a few different kinds until you find one that work for you. Some other good things to add to your hair routine is hair oil, the right brush, cold water at the very end of your shower, finish your blow dry on a cool setting.
COLOR TREATMENT

A few tips to make your color last. After coloring, wait a full 72 hrs before shampooing. This allows your hair strands and hair cuticles to seal back up to their natural state. Use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.Turn down water temperature when shampooing. Wash hair less often. On off days, use dry shampoo.Use leave-in treatments to protect hair color when styling.
BEFORE YOUR HAIR APPOINTMENT

Somewhere along the way you have probably been told, "it's better to go to your appointment with dirty hair rather than clean hair." WELL, to some extent this is true BUT have you ever felt like your stylist didn't get your hair to lift as well at your last appointment or at all? Has your hair not been holding onto color very well? Think about what you are putting on your hair, such as unprofessional shampoo leaving residue on your. Maybe showing up with a ton of dry shampoo in your, super greasy hair, make in your hair line? ALL of these things create BARRIERS which doesn't allow the color to deposit like it should or lift to the lightest ability as it should. I would much rather your come with clean hair rather than dirty!
